Credits are the unit Nuvia uses to charge for lookups in external data sources.
Available on: all plans with an active credit quota.
Who can do it: any workspace user (view); adjusting the quota is restricted to administrators.
Path: Main screen > Side menu > Your name > Settings > Credits
What credits are
A credit is the billing unit for lookups Nuvia makes in external data sources. Each lookup has a fixed cost, set by the type of data searched.
Today, credits are only consumed by contact enrichment in the Lists module, to find email addresses and phone numbers. New paid features using credits may be added in the future.
Actions that do not consume credits:
-
Creating or importing lists
-
Creating campaigns
-
Sending messages via WhatsApp or LinkedIn
-
Talking to the AI (Smart Funnels)
-
Using the standard Search module
Where to check your balance
| Location | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Side menu > Credits | Full dashboard: available balance, consumed, refunded, usage percentage and detailed history |
| Top of the platform (on any screen) | A pill with the available balance and the coin icon (e.g. 1,240 credits). Clicking it takes you straight to the Credits and usage screen |
| Enrichment panel in Lists | Cost estimate before you confirm an enrichment, and the individual cost per field in the list cells |
Monthly quota and renewal
Each workspace has a monthly credit quota. The default quota is 500 credits/month, but it can be adjusted based on your plan.
-
The quota is allocated automatically at the start of each monthly period
-
The period is identified by the
year-monthformat (e.g.2026-04) -
The rollover follows the calendar (first day of the month)
-
Unused credits do not carry over – the new allocation replaces the previous balance
Costs per lookup type
| Lookup type | Cost per contact |
|---|---|
| Work email enrichment | 1 credit |
| Phone enrichment | 10 credits |
Enriching both fields on the same contact adds up the costs: 11 credits per contact.
What consumes credits (and what doesn't)
| Situation | Consumes? |
|---|---|
| Enrichment completed with data found | Yes – charges the field cost |
| Enrichment completed with a Not found result | No – the credit is refunded automatically |
| Enrichment completed with a partial result | Yes – only for the fields actually found |
| Technical failure during execution (timeout, infrastructure error) | No – the credit is refunded automatically |
When a credit is refunded because of a failure, it goes back to the period balance and shows up in the Refunded tab of the Credits dashboard.
History and transparency
In Main screen > Side menu > Your name > Settings > Credits you'll find the full statement for the workspace.

Meta spend and Nuvia messages
The Credits and consumption screen also shows what happens outside enrichment credits, in two tabs:
-
Meta: your spend on Meta messages (cost per template, charged and free messages, and consumption per number), in your account currency, with the monthly projection.
-
Nuvia: the messages and conversations for the period, the distribution of conversations by number of messages, and the list of conversations.
This way you track how much you spend with Meta without opening WhatsApp Manager.
-
The Meta and Nuvia tabs are only shown to administrators.
-
The custom period goes up to 3 months.
-
Meta spend is approximate, added up per template and updated every 6 hours.
-
When the Meta account doesn't allow viewing costs (template analytics turned off, no payment method, or an account used by more than one company), the tab only shows volume and explains why.
