Who can do it: any user with access to the list.

Key concepts

Before running enrichment, it helps to understand three terms you'll see in the interface:

ConceptWhat it is
Enrichable fields Work email (1 credit) and Phone (10 credits). These are the only two fields filled in by enrichment.
Source data What Nuvia uses to identify the contact in external sources: Name, Company, LinkedIn, Email and Phone already on the record.
Eligibility A contact is eligible if it has Name + Company, OR LinkedIn, OR Email. Without any of these combinations, it isn't looked up and no credit is charged.

Enrich several contacts at once

  1. In the sidebar, click Lists and open the list you want

  2. Select the checkboxes of the contacts you want to enrich (or use the header checkbox to select the whole page)

  3. In the action bar that appears, click Enrich

  4. In the Enrich panel, check:

    • Available source data: how many of the selected contacts have each piece of data (e.g. “12/15 with LinkedIn”)

    • Fields to enrich: turn on the toggles for the fields you want to fill in

    • Credit estimate: total calculated considering only eligible contacts

  5. Click Enrich at the bottom of the panel

Enrich a specific contact or field

  1. Open the list and find the contact

  2. In the Email or Phone column, click Enrich (the button already shows the cost in credits)

  3. The cell changes to Enriching… while the lookup runs

  4. When it finishes, the cell shows the value found or the Not found status

Understand the cell states

StateWhat you seeWhat it means

Enriching… Spinner + “Enriching…” text Lookup in progress
Value filled in The email or phone found The search returned valid data
Not found Red Not found badge The waterfall ran through all eligible sources and no data was returned. The credit was refunded

Common errors and solutions

ProblemLikely causeSolution
Enrich button disabled in the panel Not enough credits for the estimated total Turn off one of the fields, select fewer contacts or wait for the renewal. Check your balance in Sidebar > Credits
Contact shows as not eligible Missing source data (no Name+Company, no LinkedIn and no Email) Edit the contact to add at least one eligible combination. Ineligible contacts don't use credits
Error starting enrichment warning The batch failed to be sent to the queue Confirm you still have a balance and try again. No credit is charged in this case

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Which fields can Nuvia enrich today?

Work email (1 credit) and Phone (10 credits). Other contact data, such as job title, company or LinkedIn, is pulled in at import or search time, but not by the enrichment engine.

If the data isn't found, do I still pay credits?

No. The credit covers the result of the lookup in external sources. If the waterfall ran through all eligible sources and nothing was returned, the cell changes to Not found and the credit is refunded.

Can I enrich the same field more than once?

Yes. Use the ⋮ menu in the cell and choose Enrich this data. Each attempt uses credits; there's no automatic cache for the end user.

How many contacts can I enrich at once?

It depends on how you selected them:

  • Manual selection (checking checkboxes): up to 500 contacts per call. If you need more, split them into batches.

  • Select all in a list: up to 5,000 contacts per call, keeping the filters on the screen. Nuvia resolves the contacts on the server, so large lists don't freeze your browser.

There's no limit on consecutive runs, only on the size of each call.

What if I close the tab during a bulk enrichment?

Processing continues on the server. When you come back and open the list or the Enrichment log, you'll see the final result. The inline monitoring widget only shows up again if the enrichment is still in progress.

Why did my contact show up as “partial” in the summary?

Partial means at least one field was found, but not all of the ones requested. Example: you asked for Email + Phone and Nuvia only found the Email, so the contact counts as partial. Credits were used only for the fields actually looked up.
