  1. Click Review and publish

  2. Check the enrollment triggers, whether existing contacts should enter the flow, and whether re-enrollment behaves the way you want

  3. Turn on the workflow

From activation onward, any contact that enters the flow and reaches the action is automatically enrolled in the campaign.

What happens when a contact enters the flow

  • When the contact reaches the Enroll in campaign action, HubSpot triggers Nuvia, which enrolls the contact in the selected campaign

  • The contact starts following the campaign's message sequence, with the steps, intervals, and business hours configured in it

  • Replies follow what the campaign defined in each step: AI agent or Human agent, with the conversation in the Conversations module

  • In WhatsApp campaigns, sends use the approved templates configured in the steps and count toward the number's daily limit (Tier)

Limits and rules

RuleValue
Campaigns listed in the action Only campaigns with Active status and send set to External trigger
Contact data Must have the data required by the campaign's channel (e.g., phone number with country code for WhatsApp)

Workflow type Use contact-based workflows: the campaign receives the contact enrolled in the flow.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Enroll in campaign and Send template?

Send template sends a single message, chosen right in the workflow. Enroll in campaign puts the contact into a complete Nuvia sequence, with steps, intervals, and reply handling defined in the campaign itself.

Why does my campaign not appear in the action's list?

The list only shows campaigns with Active status and send set to External trigger. If the campaign is in Draft, Paused, or has another activation type, it is not listed.

Do I need to set anything up in Nuvia for enrollment to work?

Yes. Unlike sending a template, here the campaign needs to exist in Nuvia, be Active, and have its send set to External trigger. The rest of the flow is built in the HubSpot workflow editor.

Can I track the campaign's results in HubSpot?

No. Nuvia does not send campaign performance data back to HubSpot. Track send and reply metrics in Nuvia Dashboards.

Can the same contact be enrolled more than once?

On the HubSpot side, only if re-enrollment is turned on in the workflow triggers.
