The MCP Audit shows everything done via MCP in your company — authentications, sessions and tool calls — so you can track who connected an AI client to Nuvia data and what was run.

**Available on:** accounts with access to the Nuvia MCP.
**Who can do it:User** and **Company Admin** profiles.
**Module:** Side menu > **MCP Audit**

## Open the MCP Audit

In settings, in the side menu, click **MCP Audit**. The page lists events in chronological order, from newest to oldest.

## Filter by category

Use the tabs at the top of the list to focus on one type of event:

-

**All** — shows all events

-

**Tools** — tool calls (e.g. search, contact creation)

-

**OAuth** — client registration and authorization

-

**Session** — opening and closing of MCP sessions

-

**Authentication** — login attempts on the MCP

## Understand the columns

Each row represents an event, with the following information:

ColumnWhat it shows

**Date** Date and time of the event (DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS)

**Action** What happened (e.g. client registered, tool run)

**User** Name and email of the person who took the action (when applicable)

**Category** Event type: Tools, OAuth, Session or Authentication

**ResultSuccess** (green) or **Failure** (red)

**Tool** Name of the MCP tool that was run (when applicable)

**IP** Source IP address of the call (when available)

**Duration** Execution time of the action, in milliseconds (when applicable)

When a piece of information doesn't apply to the event, the column shows a dash (—).

Tip

Use the **Authentication** filter with the **Failure** result to quickly spot MCP login attempts that weren't authorized.

## Frequently asked questions

## Frequently asked questions

**What does each category mean?Tools** are MCP tool calls; **OAuth** covers client registration and authorization; **Session** logs the opening and closing of sessions; **Authentication** logs login attempts on the MCP.

**Why do some rows show a dash (—) instead of a value?**

Not every piece of information applies to every event. For example, an authentication event has no associated tool, so the Tool column shows a dash.

**How do I see only the failures?**

The Result column marks each event as Success (green) or Failure (red). Combine the category filters with the Result column to find the failures of the type you're looking for.

**Who can see the MCP Audit?**

The **User** and **Company Admin** profiles can access the page from the side menu.
